Greg began practice more than thirty years ago with a small
trial practice firm. Early on he gained substantial experience in
litigation with cases as varied as personal injury, employment discrimination,
creditor's rights, and commercial disputes. In the eighties, Greg joined
Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services, now known as CB Richard Ellis,
where he served first as Regional Counsel, and later as Vice President and
Resident Manager of the Nashville, Tennessee and the Atlanta Northeast offices.
For many years Greg has been peer review rated "AV" by the
Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, its highest rating.
Over the years Greg’s practice has evolved and has included a variety of matters
involving business litigation, business formation and commercial real estate. Today Greg concentrates his practice in business
transactions including purchases, sales and formations, commercial real estate
matters including acquisitions, sales and financing, real estate litigation, and
commercial litigation.
Over the years, the breadth of experience that Greg has
gained in handling different types of matters, and from working in the trenches
in the commercial real estate industry, has proved invaluable to clients. Greg’s expertise and understanding of the
objectives of the parties to a transaction, including the steps in the process,
enable him to provide his clients with cost effective solutions.
Greg received his law degree from the University of
Pittsburgh where he served as President of his class and on the Moot Court
Board. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of
Virginia where he majored in history and was a member of the varsity football
team.
Greg's practice includes the areas of commercial real estate, commercial litigation, contract litigation, real estate tax litigation, business purchases and sales, mortgage fraud and creditor bankruptcy matters.
